GoW Concord Grape Anti-Oxidant Serum

Grape Fruit Distillate
* distillate of the concord grape. This is a very mild anti-oxidant that is naturally
     in the grape skin itself. It also imparts the scent to this product.
Grapeseed Extract
* rich in polyphenols
*
research shows that grape seed extract may help to prevent or control damage
     to body cells that is caused by drugs, pollution, tobacco, and other toxins.

*
a new study suggests Grapeseed extract may help skin wounds heal faster and
     with less scarring

* believed to help maintain the skin's elasticity

Hyaluronic Acid
* humectant that can hold up to 1,000 x it's own weight in water retention
     which in turn contributes to our skin maintaining a more youthful
     and 'plumped' appearance
Resveratrol
* resveratrol functions [in plants] as a phytoalexin, a substance produced by
      plants that can inhibit the growth of infecting fungi or other pathogens. As a
     'neutraceutical' [], Resveratrol [which offers the dark brown look to this serum],
     presents itself with anti-viral, anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and
     neuroprotective activities which fights the degradation of cell functioning
     to fight the free-radicals
Lecithin
* emulsifier
L-Carnosine
* consists of two amino acids, alanine and histidine. Such combinations of amino acids
     are
known as dipeptides. Like other amino acids and dipeptides, L-carnosine
     is a protein building block.
* l-carnosine is good for trapping chemicals and turning them into lipofuscin
     [which is the brown waste material deposited in skin and nerve cells that is \
     commonly called "age spots." Lipofuscin is made of free radical damaged
     proteins and fats.
* anti-oxidant properties that also fight the invaders causing cell degradation
Optiphen
* preservative

** this serum is excellent to use before a Vitamin C serum as it helps the
     cells to accept/absorb the Vitamin C to protect them from the
     free-radicals that actually bind themselves to the cells and destroy
     the cellular structur
