Oorigin: Germany Production: By supercritical fluid extraction with natural carbon dioxide, no solvent residues, no inorganic salts, no heavy metals, no reproducible microorganisms [1].
Extract: Brown stiff product at room temperature with characteristic smell. Under cool storage water can separate. So it is recommendable before using to warm up the extract to a temperature of 50° C and to homogenise.
Ingredients: 20 - 40 % total hyperforins, resins and waxes, water, no photosensibilising hypericin. Application: In natural remedies and in cosmetic preparations because of the wound healing effect and inhibition of microorganisms [2], in creams and preparations for treatment of impure skin, as additive with preservative properties [3], internally for treating mild depression disorders.
