Licorice Root Extract Glycyrrhiza glabra

Cosmetically, the glycyrrhizin is a powerful anti-irritant that helps to
prevent the erythema that triggers the chain of reactions that lead
to the production of melanin. Studies show that licorice extract
has a strong depigmenting effect. It also inhibits melanin
synthesis due to its ability to act
as a tyrosinase inhibitor.
